The Book of Jubilees: An Overview of the Wisdom and Insight of Moses

Quill on Hebrew text parchment with visible script, surrounded by paper sheets with similar writing. Warm tones, scholarly atmosphere.

The Book of Jubilees, also known as Little Genesis, is an excellent book full of wisdom and insight. It truly is a shame that this book, which is attributed to Moses, is often rejected. While scholars continue to debate the authenticity of the book, and I maintain it is due to the bias of said scholars, this book of Jubilees was found with the Dead Sea Scrolls. In fact, the largest section of Jubilees was in a vessel that also contained Genesis (dating back to the second century BCE). This is important because it signifies that the Levites who took care of the scriptures recognized Jubilees as scripture.

“And it came to be, when Mosheh (Moses) had completed writing the Words of this Torah in a book, until their completion, that Mosheh (Moses) commanded the Lĕwites (Levites), who bore the ark of the covenant of יהוה, saying, “Take this Book of the Torah, and you shall place it beside the ark of the covenant of יהוה your Elohim, and it shall be there as a witness against you.” (Deuteronomy 31:24-26)

“And Israel blessed his sons before he died and told them everything that would befall them in the land of Egypt; and he made known to them what would come upon them in the last days, and blessed them and gave to Joseph two portions in the land. And he slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the double cave in the land of Canaan, near Abraham his father in the grave which he dug for himself in the double cave in the land of Hebron. And he gave all his books and the books of his fathers to Levi his son that he might preserve them and renew them for his children until this day.” (Jubilees 45:14-16)

You may be wondering how placing scripture in earthen vessels equates to honoring scripture? Well, in the Torah, we find this commandment.

“These are the laws and right-rulings which you guard to do in the land which יהוה Elohim of your fathers is giving you to possess, all the days that you live on the soil. “Completely destroy all the places where the nations which you are dispossessing served their mighty ones, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. And you shall break down their slaughter-places, and smash their pillars, and burn their Ashĕrim with fire. And you shall cut down the carved images of their mighty ones and shall destroy their name out of that place. “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim.” (Deuteronomy 12:1-4)

This was taken to mean that we should not destroy objects that have the name of Yah on/in them. One example of this would be the scrolls, or Bibles in our case, as the name of Yah is written all over them (Unless the translators have removed His name). So, what did the Levites do when a scroll became to worn out? Instead of burning them, as that would be destroying the name of Yah, they placed them in vessels and put them in caves. Much like a burial.

Another interesting tidbit is that the Messianic (Keep Torah and follow Yeshua) Ethiopians (who claim to be descendants from the tribe of Levi) have always had the book of Jubilees as part of their canon.

So why do the Ethiopians have it and not the rest of the world? Well, the first perpetrators to consider Jubilees as non-authentic were the Pharisees of Judea in the 9th century CE. Because of this, they did not add it to their Masoretic canon, which is what the KJV and many other canons are based on.

The book of Jubilees contains verses that discuss future events, and they are consistent with the rest of the scriptures. Here are a few examples that might get you excited to give the book of Jubilees a try.

Regathering and Tabernacles

“And they will forget all My law and all My commandments and all My judgments, and will go astray as to new moons, and sabbaths, and festivals, and jubilees, and ordinances. And after this they will turn to Me from amongst the Gentiles with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their strength, and I will gather them from amongst all the Gentiles, and they will seek me, so that I shall be found of them, when they seek me with all their heart and with all their soul. And I will disclose to them abounding peace with righteousness, and I will remove them the plant of uprightness, with all My heart and with all My soul, and they shall be for a blessing and not for a curse, and they shall be the head and not the tail. And I will build My sanctuary in their midst, and I will dwell with them, and I will be their Elohim and they shall be My people in truth and righteousness. And I will not forsake them nor fail them; for I am the Yah their Elohim.” (Jubilees 1:13-17)

“And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl (Israel) from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land.” (Ezekiel 37:21)

“And I shall make a covenant of peace with them – an everlasting covenant it is with them. And I shall place them and increase them, and shall place My set-apart place in their midst, forever.” (Ezekiel 37:26)

Circumcising the Heart, the In Dwelling of the Set-apart Spirit, and Cleansing

“And after this they will turn to Me in all uprightness and with all (their) heart and with all (their) soul, and I will circumcise the foreskin of their heart and the foreskin of the heart of their seed, and I will create in them a holy spirit, and I will cleanse them so that they shall not turn away from Me from that day unto eternity.” (Jubilees 1:22)

“And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you. And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh, and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.” (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

New Creation and Mount Zion

“For Yah has four places on the earth, the Garden of Eden, and the Mount of the East, and this mountain on which thou art this day, Mount Sinai, and Mount Zion (which) will be sanctified in the new creation for a sanctification of the earth; through it will the earth be sanctified from all (its) guilt and its uncleanness through- out the generations of the world.” (Jubilees 4:26)

“And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the House of יהוה is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it. And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of יהוה, to the House of the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ (Jacob), and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsiyon(Zion) comes forth the Torah, and the Word of יהוה from Yerushalayim(Jerusalem).” (Isaiah 2:2-3)

“For look, I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to heart.” (Isaiah 65:17)

Within Jubilees, we also get additional details on some of the events mentioned in the Torah and other books as well.

The Angels that Praised Elohim During Creation

“And thereupon we saw His works, and praised Him, and lauded before Him on account of all His works; for seven great works did He create on the first day.” Jubilees 2:3)

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who set its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?” (Job 38: 4-7)

The Garden of Eden

“And in the first week of the first jubilee, [1-7 A.M.] Adam and his wife were in the garden of Eden for seven years tilling and keeping it, and we gave him work and we instructed him to do everything that is suitable for tillage.” (Jubilees 3:15)

“And יהוה Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and to guard it.” (Genesis 2:15)

Expulsion from the Garden

“And on that day on which Adam went forth from the Garden, he offered as a sweet savor an offering, frankincense, galbanum, and stacte, and spices in the morning with the rising of the sun from the day when he covered his shame. And on that day was closed the mouth of all beasts, and of cattle, and of birds, and of whatever walks, and of whatever moves, so that they could no longer speak: for they had all spoken one with another with one lip and with one tongue. And He sent out of the Garden of Eden all flesh that was in the Garden of Eden, and all flesh was scattered according to its kinds, and according to its types unto the places which had been created for them.” (Jubilees 3:27-29)

“So יהוה Elohim sent him out of the garden of Ěḏen to till the ground from which he was taken, and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:23-24)

Angels Instruct Men and Corruption

“And in the second week of the tenth jubilee [449-55 A.M.] Mahalalel took unto him to wife Dinah, the daughter of Barakiel the daughter of his father's brother, and she bare him a son in the third week in the sixth year, [461 A.M.] and he called his name Jared, for in his days the angels of Yah descended on the earth, those who are named the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do judgment and uprightness on the earth.” (Jubilees 4:15)

“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)

Angels or Messengers, depending on the translation, are charged with instructing humans in the ways of Yah. This makes sense, given all the references we have about angels visiting certain figures in the Bible. Unfortunately, some of the Watchers gave in to lust and thus brought about the Nephilim.

“And he testified to the Watchers, who had sinned with the daughters of men; for these had begun to unite themselves, so as to be defiled, with the daughters of men, and Enoch testified against (them) all.” (Jubilees 4:22)

“And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name.” (Genesis 6:1-4)

I encourage everyone to test the book of Jubilees, give it a read for yourself, and see what you think. For me, the book has added layers of understanding and provided me with insights into some things that were only lightly touched upon in the canon. I’m grateful to be alive in such a time to discover these books that were ripped from the bible, to have them so accessible. Well, continue to test all things and may the Ruach Hakodesh lead you into all truth.

Uncovering the Mysteries of the Tower of Babel: An In-Depth Look at Jasher and Jubilees

A vast tower spirals upward against a cloudy sky, surrounded by a busy landscape with small figures. Earthy tones dominate the ancient scene.

Many people have speculated on the mysteries of the Tower of Babel, such as why it was created, who was the mastermind behind it, and why YHWH destroyed it and scattered the people. The book of Genesis gives us the story, but fails to answer some pressing questions. To get the full context of the story, we must look to books that were removed from the canon, Jasher and Jubilees, both of which are mentioned in the canonized Bible. I’ll go more in-depth with these two books in a future post, but for now, I would ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. If you feel they are non-inspirational, then by all means stop reading, but if you want to see a glimpse of what is written in them, then continue on.

“And all the earth had one language and one speech. And it came to be, as they set out from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shin‛ar, and they dwelt there. And they said to each other, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens, and make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over all the face of the earth.” Then יהוה came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And יהוה said, “Look, they are one people and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do! And now, they are not going to be withheld from doing whatever they plan to do. “Come, let Us go there and confuse their language, so that they do not understand one another’s speech.” And יהוה scattered them from there, over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. That is why its name was called Babel, because there יהוה confused the language of all the earth, and from there יהוה scattered them over the face of all the earth.” (Genesis 11:1-9)

Picture it, everyone on earth speaking the same language and working together to build a single structure, what a sight that must have been! I’ve heard different theories for why they were building the tower; some say they tried to build a stargate to get into heaven. Others just say they built it out of pride, and that is why YHWH destroyed the tower. If YHWH didn’t want them to build towers, then why does He allow us to have skyscrapers? Based on Biblical Cosmology, we can rule out stargates and just a hatred for tall structures, and conclude that they indeed wanted to build up to the firmament. Why though?

Just How High was the Tower?

Jasher has the answer, but it is in Jubilees that we see the measurements for the tower.

“For they departed from the land of Ararat eastward to Shinar; for in his days they built the city and the tower, saying, 'Go to, let us ascend thereby into heaven.' And they began to build, and in the fourth week they made brick with fire, and the bricks served them for stone, and the clay with which they cemented them together was asphalt which comes out of the sea, and out of the fountains of water in the land of Shinar. And they built it: forty and three years [1645-1688 A.M.] were they building it; its breadth was 203 bricks, and the height (of a brick) was the third of one; its height amounted to 5433 cubits and 2 palms, and (the extent of one wall was) thirteen stades (and of the other thirty stades). And the Lord our God said unto us: Behold, they are one people, and (this) they begin to do, and now nothing will be withholden from them. Go to, let us go down and confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech, and they may be dispersed into cities and nations, and one purpose will no longer abide with them till the day of judgment.' And the Lord descended, and we descended with him to see the city and the tower which the children of men had built. And he confounded their language, and they no longer understood one another's speech, and they ceased then to build the city and the tower. For this reason the whole land of Shinar is called Babel, because the Lord did there confound all the language of the children of men, and from thence they were dispersed into their cities, each according to his language and his nation. And the Lord sent a mighty wind against the tower and overthrew it upon the earth, and behold it was between Asshur and Babylon in the land of Shinar, and they called its name 'Overthrow'.” (Jubilees (10:19-26)

A.M. basically means from creation; in fact, the Jews still use that year system. The height of the tower was 5433 cubits, which measures out to 1.5 miles high. To put that into perspective, the tallest building in the world is Burj Khalifa, topping off at 2,717 feet high or half a mile high. I’m not very good with math, so I couldn’t figure out the measurements for the base of the tower, but we know its base is made up of 203 bricks and that the height of the bricks is 1/3 its length. Either way, I know its base must have covered a lot of land. We also see that the people were working on this tower for 43 years before YHWH destroyed the structure and scattered the people. In this little snippet of Jubilees, we see that the earth will not be united for a singular cause till the end of days, the new world order and one-world government seem to fit the bill.

Why They Built the Tower

Now that we know the tower was massive, but still don’t know who was the overseer of the project, or why they decided to build it in the first place? To learn that, we turn to the book of Jasher.

“And king Nimrod reigned securely, and all the earth was under his control, and all the earth was of one tongue and words of union. And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars. And they all went before the king, and they told the king these words, and the king agreed with them in this affair, and he did so. And all the families assembled consisting of about six hundred thousand men, and they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they sought in the whole earth and they found none like one valley at the east of the land of Shinar, about two days' walk, and they journeyed there and they dwelt there. And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete. And the building of the tower was unto them a transgression and a sin, and they began to build it, and whilst they were building against the Lord God of heaven, they imagined in their hearts to war against him and to ascend into heaven. And all these people and all the families divided themselves in three parts; the first said We will ascend into heaven and fight against him; the second said, We will ascend to heaven and place our own gods there and serve them; and the third part said, We will ascend to heaven and smite him with bows and spears; and God knew all their works and all their evil thoughts, and he saw the city and the tower which they were building. And when they were building they built themselves a great city and a very high and strong tower; and on account of its height the mortar and bricks did not reach the builders in their ascent to it, until those who went up had completed a full year, and after that, they reached to the builders and gave them the mortar and the bricks; thus was it done daily. And behold these ascended and others descended the whole day; and if a brick should fall from their hands and get broken, they would all weep over it, and if a man fell and died, none of them would look at him. And the Lord knew their thoughts, and it came to pass when they were building they cast the arrows toward the heavens, and all the arrows fell upon them filled with blood, and when they saw them they said to each other, Surely we have slain all those that are in heaven. For this was from the Lord in order to cause them to err, and in order; to destroy them from off the face of the ground. And they built the tower and the city, and they did this thing daily until many days and years were elapsed. And God said to the seventy angels who stood foremost before him, to those who were near to him, saying, Come let us descend and confuse their tongues, that one man shall not understand the language of his neighbor, and they did so unto them. And from that day following, they forgot each man his neighbor's tongue, and they could not understand to speak in one tongue, and when the builder took from the hands of his neighbor lime or stone which he did not order, the builder would cast it away and throw it upon his neighbor, that he would die. And they did so many days, and they killed many of them in this manner. And the Lord smote the three divisions that were there, and he punished them according to their works and designs; those who said, We will ascend to heaven and serve our gods, became like apes and elephants; and those who said, We will smite the heaven with arrows, the Lord killed them, one man through the hand of his neighbor; and the third division of those who said, We will ascend to heaven and fight against him, the Lord scattered them throughout the earth. And those who were left amongst them, when they knew and understood the evil which was coming upon them, they forsook the building, and they also became scattered upon the face of the whole earth. And they ceased building the city and the tower; therefore he called that place Babel, for there the Lord confounded the Language of the whole earth; behold it was at the east of the land of Shinar. And as to the tower which the sons of men built, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up one third part thereof, and a fire also descended from heaven and burned another third, and the other third is left to this day, and it is of that part which was aloft, and its circumference is three days' walk. And many of the sons of men died in that tower, a people without number.” (Jasher 9: 20-39)

The Overseer of the Tower

The man behind the tower is Nimrod; you may remember that name from here.

“And Kush brought forth Nimroḏ, he began to be a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before יהוה, therefore it is said, “Like Nimroḏ the mighty hunter before יהוה.” And the beginning of his reign was Babel, and Ereḵ, and Akkaḏ, and Kalnĕh, in the land of Shin‛ar.” (Genesis 10:8-10)

The shocking reality of what the people had intended to do is startling and foolish; the audacity to believe they could kill YHWH and instill their own gods in heaven to worship. It wasn’t even a small number of people who had imagined such evil; it was 600,000! I thought it was a bit comical that YHWH turned their arrows red when they fell back down through the clouds, fooling the wicked into believing they had actually done something. For those unaware, the Tower of Babel takes place after the flood, which was brought on by the great wickedness on the earth. It seems we never learn our lesson, even now, the wicked and lawless try to squeeze YHWH out of the picture with evolution and space. I look forward to the day Yeshua returns to wage war against the evildoers; it will be a glorious day indeed!

I hope this brought new understanding to the Tower of Babel and the significance it plays. Test all things, even this teaching, and I pray the Rauch Hakodesh leads you into all truth.

What are Leviathan and Behemoth in the Bible?

A sea monster battles stormy waves beneath an angelic figure in clouds. Dramatic contrast and swirling water dominate the scene.

What are Leviathan and Behemoth? I’ve heard many people say they were large African animals like an elephant or a hippo, or that they could have been dinosaurs. Although valiant in their determination to know the truth, I reason Leviathan and Behemoth are neither of the two but are unique to the rest of creation. As with all my teachings, we will delve into the scriptures to explore what they have to say about these two legendary creatures. I will be using three sources not found in your regular canon of scripture, but regarded as canonical in some biblical texts, one of which I have covered in "Ripped from the Bible" (1 Enoch).

How the Bible Defines Both Creatures

We’ll start with the passages found in Job, which provide the most detailed description of both creatures.

“See now, Behĕmoth, which I made along with you – he eats grass like an ox. See now, his strength is in his loins, and his power is in his stomach muscles. He bends his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are like tubes of bronze, his ribs like bars of iron. He is the beginning of the ways of Ěl. His Maker brings near His sword. For the mountains yield food for him, and all the beasts of the field play there. He lies under the slender trees, under cover of reed and swamp. The slender trees cover him with their shade; the willows by the stream surround him. See, if a river rages, he is not alarmed; he feels safe, even if the Yardĕn (Jordan) gushes into his mouth, Before his eyes, shall he be caught, with snares? Or his nose pierced?” (Job 40:15-24)

Most, in general, will say this is a description of a hippopotamus, but how many hippos do you know of that have tails like a cedar tree? There is one thing in this passage that I do not understand, which is Behemoth being first in the ways of YHWH, maybe he was the first creature created? If you have any thoughts on what this could mean feel free to leave a comment down below.

“Would you draw out Liwiathan (Leviathan) with a hook, or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? Would you put a cord through his nose, or pierce his jaw with a hook? Would he keep on pleading with you? Would he speak softly to you? Would he make a covenant with you to be taken as a servant forever? Would you play with him as with a bird? Or leash him for your young girls? Would trading partners bargain over him? Would they divide him among the merchants? Fill his skin with harpoons? Or his head with fishing spears? Put your hand on him – think of the struggle! Do not do it again! See, any expectation of him is disappointed – he is laid low even at the sight of him! No one is so foolhardy to wake him up. Who then is able to stand against Me? Who has given to Me first, that I should repay him – under all the heavens that is Mine? I would not keep silent concerning his limbs, or his mighty power, or his fair frame. Who shall take off the surface of his skin? Who approaches him with a double bridle? Who shall open the doors of his face, with his frightening teeth all around? Rows of scales are his pride – closed up, a binding seal. One to the other they fit closely, not even a breath enters between them. They are joined one to another, they stick together and are not separated. His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go firebrands – sparks of fire shoot out. Out of his nostrils comes smoke, like a boiling pot or kettle. His breath sets coals on fire, and a flame goes out of his mouth. Strength dwells in his neck, and fear leaps before him. The folds of his flesh cleave together. They are firm on him, immovable. His heart is as hard as stone, even as hard as the lower millstone. When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid. Because of his crashings they are bewildered. No sword that reaches him does prevail, neither spear, dart, or lance. He reckons iron as straw, bronze as rotten wood. The arrow does not make him flee, sling-stones become like stubble to him. Clubs are reckoned as straw, he laughs at the rattle of a lance. His undersides are like sharp potsherds. He sprawls on the mud like a threshing-sledge. He makes the deep boil like a pot, he makes the sea like a pot of ointment. He leaves a shining path behind him. One would think the deep to be grey-haired. No one on earth is like him – one made without fear. He sees all that is haughty. He is sovereign over all the sons of pride.” (Job 41: 1-34)

“Here is the sea, great and wide, In which are innumerable swarms, Living creatures, small with great. There do ships go; That Liwiathan (Leviathan) which You made, to play there.” (Psalm 104:25-26)

The only thing I’m not sure of is the last sentence, where it says he is the king of all the sons of pride. What could this mean? Interesting and worth further research. Again, many will try to rationalize that the Leviathan is a crocodile or something of the like, but I ask, how many crocodiles do you know of that have impenetrable scales, breathe fire, have eyes like the sun, when they sneeze a flash of light comes forth, and when they move the sea becomes choppy? If Leviathan sounds to you like a giant sea dragon, well, you’re right, and Elohim is going to slay the mighty beast.

“You divided the sea by Your might; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters. You broke the heads of Liwiathan (Leviathan) in pieces, You made him food for the people Living in the wilderness.” (Psalm 74:13-14)

It also seems to have multiple heads, as if this dragon wasn’t intimidating enough already.

Separating the Two Beast

In the book of Enoch, we get a little more information on these two impressive creatures.

“And on that day two monsters will be separated from one another, a female monster whose name is Leviathan, to dwell in the depths of the sea, above the springs of the waters. And the name of the male is Behemoth who occupies with his breast an immense desert named Dendayn on the east of the Garden where the chosen and the righteous dwell. Where my great-grandfather was received, who was seventh from Adam, the first man whom the Lord of Spirits made. And I asked that other Angel to show me the power of those monsters, how they were separated on one day, and thrown, one into the depths of the sea and the other on to the dry ground of the desert. And he said to me: “Son of man, you here wish to know what is secret.” (Enoch 60:7-10)

Why is Leviathan depicted as female here and in other texts as a male? Where is this desert called Dendayn (features of this desert in the next passage)? I’m not sure but maybe we’re not meant to know, just like the angel said it’s a secret.

The Stature of Leviathan and Behemoth

To get a better idea of how massive these creatures are we’ll have to look in 2 Esdras.

“On the fifth day you commanded the seventh part, where the water had been gathered together, to bring forth living creatures, birds, and fishes; and so it was done. The dumb and lifeless water produced living creatures, as it was commanded, so that therefore the nations might declare your wondrous works. “Then you kept in existence two living creatures; the one you called Behemoth and the name of the other Leviathan. And you separated one from the other, for the seventh part where the water had been gathered together could not hold them both. And you gave Behemoth one of the parts that had been dried up on the third day, to live in it, where there are a thousand mountains; but to Leviathan you gave the seventh part, the watery part; and you have kept them to be eaten by whom you wish, and when you wish.” (2 Esdras 6:47-52)

Both monsters were created on the 5th day of creation, and they are so ginormous that the oceans cannot contain them both! Imagine that if you can. Where is the place of a thousand mountains that now holds the Behemoth? Perhaps another secret that we will have to wait to find out.

Food for the Masses?

What’s more shocking, however, is that these beasts have a part to play in the last of days. King David referenced this in Psalms 74:13-14 when he said Leviathan will be made food.

“And He answered and said unto me: 'Whatever will then befall (will befall) the whole earth; therefore, all who live will experience (them). For at that time I will protect only those who are found in those self-same days in this land. And it shall come to pass when all is accomplished that was to come to pass in those parts, that the Messiah shall then begin to be revealed. And Behemoth shall be revealed from his place and Leviathan shall ascend from the sea, those two great monsters which I created on the fifth day of creation, and shall have kept until that time; and then they shall be for food for all that are left.” (2 Burch 29:1-4)

“And the angel of peace who was with me said to me, “These two monsters are prepared for the great day of YHWH when they shall turn into food.” (1 Enoch 60:24)

On the great day of YHWH, both Leviathan and Behemoth will be brought forth from their hiding places and become food for those who are left. Yes, both animals are clean. If you remember in the scriptures from Job, the Behemoth chews the cud like an ox and the Leviathan has scales.

“Whatever has a split hoof completely divided, chewing the cud, among the beasts, that you do eat.” (Leviticus 11:3)

“These you do eat of all that are in the waters: any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas or in the rivers, that you do eat.” (Leviticus 11:9)

I firmly believe that scripture makes it very clear that Leviathan and Behemoth are not African animals and are not dinosaurs (which may be a hoax), but are special, singular creatures. I know this may sound too fantastical and unbelievable, but given Biblical Cosmology and Nephilim, is it really that hard to believe?

As always, test all things, including this teaching. I pray the Holy Spirit guides you into truth.

Ripped from the Bible, 1 Enoch

Jude Quotes from 1 Enoch

I started questioning whether 1 Enoch should be in the Bible when I came across this verse.

“And Hanok (Enoch), the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of these, saying, “See, יהוה comes with His myriads of set-apart ones, to execute judgment on all, to punish all who are wicked among them concerning all their wicked works which they have committed in a wicked way, and concerning all the harsh words which wicked sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 1:14-15)

I knew who Enoch was and that he was mentioned in Genesis but couldn’t remember if he had been quoted in the Bible. So, I turned to Genesis and this is all that was written about Enoch.

“And Hanok lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Methuselah. And after he brought forth Methushelah, Hanok walked with Elohim three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters. So all the days of Hanok were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Hanok walked with Elohim. Then he was no more, for Elohim took him.” (Genesis 5:21-24)

I thought it was rather odd that Jude would quote Enoch but not have any reference in the Bible of Enoch himself saying it. Numerous prophets have cited the works of other prophets found in the Bible, but this wasn’t. Where did Jude get this quote? It didn’t take much digging to discover that a book of Enoch does exist! But this raised an even troubling question, why was it not canonized? After sifting through videos and articles for why it was removed, I realized the community was unevenly split. Most said the book of Enoch was heresy and others claimed it was taken out by wicked men. I’d even heard one biblical scholar say the book of Enoch was written after Jude and took other inspirations from scripture. Later I found out that 1 Enoch is older than the book of Jude or the New Testament, as it was found with the Dead Sea Scrolls that date back to 200 B.C. That doesn’t mean these are the originals, but even still they date back before the time of Yeshua.

Testing the Book of 1 Enoch

This left me in quite the predicament, do I leave the book of Enoch alone and just spout out what every popular biblical scholar said about the matter, “If it was meant to be in the Bible it would be.”? Or do I pick up a copy and with the Holy Spirit determine whether this is YHWH inspired? Since I already knew the earth was flat and I was being lied to by mainstream media and the government, I decided to investigate the matter for myself. I knew the Holy Spirit wouldn’t deceive me or lead me into error, I left my preconceived notions at the door, and with the following verses in mind, I bought a copy of 1 Enoch.

“But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.” (John 14:26)

“But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth…” (John 16:13)

With a grain of salt, I began to read 1 Enoch, and you know what? It didn’t take long for me to come across where Jude got his quote from.

“And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones, To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (1 Enoch 1:9)

Right there in the first chapter, this was pretty telling but I kept my guard up as I continued to wade through the book. Along the way I read some incredible verses, it brought more understanding to other parts of scripture and opened my eyes to the earth before the flood. Then in chapter ten, I saw another comparison to what Enoch was saying and two other New Testament prophets.

“And the messengers (angels) who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” (Jude 1:6)

“For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros (She'ol), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment,”(2 Peter 2:4)

“…Bind them [fallen angels] fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, until the day of their judgment and of their consummation, till the judgment that is forever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire.” (1 Enoch 10:12-13)

1 Enoch and the Son of Man

Still, I treated the book with caution, that is until I got to the part where Enoch starts talking about Yeshua. I was blown away by what I was reading, here in the book written by Enoch, we hear about our messiah. We know that Yeshua often went by the title, the Son of Man, from the following verses.

“even as the Son of Adam (man) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

“But in order for you to know that the Son of Adam possesses authority on earth to forgive sins...” He then said to the paralytic, “Rise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” (Matthew 9:6) Paralytic means paralyzed.

“And He began to teach them that the Son of Aḏam has to suffer much, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days to rise again.” (Mark 8:31)

“From now on the Son of Adam shall sit on the right hand of the power of Elohim.” (Luke 22:69)

There are more New Testament Bible verses that mention the Son of Man, but you get the idea, Yeshua went by the Son of Man frequently. Why does he go by this title? Was it mentioned in the Old Testament that the messiah would go by such a name? I found one scripture that addresses the coming messiah as the Son of Man.

“I was looking in the night visions and saw One like the Son of Enosh (man), coming with the clouds of the heavens! And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.” (Daniel 7:13)

That’s all I found in the Old Testament, I’m not saying that it’s not enough, but I thought it would have been used more. This wouldn’t be the case however if Enoch was canonized, as you can see below.

“And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence of the Lord of Spirits, And his name before the Head of Days. Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, Before the stars of the heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of Spirits.” (1 Enoch 48:2-3)

“He answered and said to me, This is the Son of Man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwelt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness. This Son of man, whom thou beholdest, shall raise up kings and the mighty from their couches, and the powerful from their thrones; shall loosen the bridles of the powerful, and break in pieces the teeth of sinners. He shall hurl kings from their thrones and their dominions; because they will not exalt and praise him, nor humble themselves before him, by whom their kingdoms were granted to them. The countenance likewise of the mighty shall He cast down, filling them with confusion. Darkness shall be their habitation, and worms shall be their bed; nor from that their bed shall they hope to be again raised, because they exalted not the name of the Lord of spirits.” (1 Enoch 46:1-4)

“After this the name of the Son of man, living with the Lord of spirits, was exalted by the inhabitants of the earth.” (1 Enoch 69:1)

“They blessed, glorified, and exalted, because the name of the Son of man was revealed to them. He sat upon the throne of his glory; and the principal part of the judgment was assigned to him, the Son of man. Sinners shall disappear and perish from the face of the earth, while those who seduced them shall be bound with chains for ever. According to their ranks of corruption shall they be imprisoned, and all their works shall disappear from the face of the earth; nor thenceforward shall there be any to corrupt; for the Son of man has been seen, sitting on the throne of his glory. Everything wicked shall disappear and depart from before his face; and the word of the Son of man shall become powerful in the presence of the Lord of spirits.” (1 Enoch 68:38-41)

Yeshua References 1 Enoch

Wow! Those are some powerful verses and they don’t conflict with the Bible but conform to its teachings. There is more on Yeshua in 1 Enoch, but you’ll have to pick up a copy and read it for yourselves. Do you remember when Yeshua said this?

“For in the resurrection they do not marry, nor are they given in marriage, but are as messengers (angels) of Elohim in heaven.” (Matthew 22:30)

This is a brand-new idea, for nowhere else in scripture is it mentioned. That is until you look in the book of Enoch.

“Wherefore have you forsaken the lofty and holy heaven, which endures for ever, and have lain with women; have defiled yourselves with the daughters of men; have taken to yourselves wives; have acted like the sons of the earth, and have begotten an impious offspring? You being spiritual, holy, and possessing a life which is eternal, have polluted yourselves with women; have begotten in carnal blood; have lusted in the blood of men; and have done as those who are flesh and blood do. These however die and perish. Therefore have I given to them wives, that they might cohabit with them; that sons might be born of them; and that this might be transacted upon earth. But you from the beginning were made spiritual, possessing a life which is eternal, and not subject to death for ever. Therefore I made not wives for you, because, being spiritual, your dwelling is in heaven.” (1 Enoch 15:2-7)

In this passage, YHWH is talking to the fallen angels that mated with human females as mentioned in Genesis 6:1–4, more on this and the giants that spawned from that union next week. Do you recall when Yeshua drove the demons out of the two men?

“And when He came to the other side, to the country of the Girgashites, two demon-possessed ones met Him, coming out of the tombs, very fierce, so that no one was able to pass that way. And see, they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, יהושע, Son of Elohim? Have You come here to torture us, before the appointed time?” (Matthew 8:28-29)

Before their appointed time? Again, there is no mention in the canonized text about this, yet the Bible mentions it as if we should know. Once more the answer is found in 1 Enoch.

“From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death ⌈of the giants⌉, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement--thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great ⌈judgement⌉ in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated.” (1 Enoch 16:1)

Once the giants died their spirits left their bodies and became demons, because they were the offspring of spiritual beings and beings of flesh, as told in the following verses.

“And now, the giants who were born from body and flesh will be called Evil Spirits on the Earth, and on the Earth will be their dwelling. And evil spirits came out from their flesh, because from above they were created, from the Holy Watchers was their origin and first foundation. Evil spirits they will be on Earth and ‘Spirits of the Evil Ones’ they will be called. And the dwelling of the Spirits of Heaven is Heaven, but the dwelling of the spirits of the Earth, who were born on the Earth, is Earth. And the spirits of the giants do wrong, are corrupt, attack, fight, break on the Earth, and cause sorrow. And they eat no food, do not thirst, and are not observed. And these spirits will rise against the sons of men, and against the women, because they came out of them during the days of slaughter and destruction” (1 Enoch 15:8-12)

1 Enoch is Scripture

With all this evidence supporting that believing Israel had this book, I knew 1 Enoch should be canonized. It’s another piece of the puzzle that contributes to the bigger picture. The council of Nicea took it out and they also took out the book of Revelation, thankful Revelation found its way back in sooner rather than later. I cannot fathom why those workers of iniquity would take out Enoch and some other books that belong in the Bible. And to those who say, “If it was meant to be in the Bible it would be.” Let us remember these solemn words from Revelation.

“and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Elohim shall take away his part from the Book of Life, and out of the set-apart city, which are written in this Book.” (Revelation 22:19)

1 Enoch is for this Generation

I think 1 Enoch is making a resurgence because we are in the last days. As always don’t believe a word I say and research it for yourselves, we all must be diligent in the search for the truth. May the Holy Spirit guide you on your journeys.

“The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he began his story saying: I am Enoch, a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but it was not for this generation to know, but for a remote one which is to come .” (1 Enoch 1:1-3)
